Donna Kennedy Steagall Pfeiffer, 70, of Murfreesboro, was called home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2010. Donna was a loving wife and mother. She was a long-time member of the Rockvale Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Chapter 91, where she formerly held the station of Recorder of Crosses. She worked in local government for many years at the Rutherford County Courthouse where she retired as secretary for the Honorable Whitney Steagall. She will be missed by all and her spirit will live on with all whose lives she touched. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary Frances and Earl Boyd Kennedy, of Nashville. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ernest Allen Pfeiffer, Sr.; her children, Mark Steagall, Tina Gail Steagall, Tom (Tanera) Steagall, and Earl (Angie) Steagall, all of Rockvale; stepchildren Ernest Allen (Missy) Pfeiffer, Jr., of Nashville, Carole Joy Pfeiffer, of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Hannah Gwen Steagall, Dawson Kennedy Steagall, Olivia Frances Steagall, and Jack Thomas Steagall, all of Rockvale, and Anna Dean Pfeiffer and Allissa Ryan Pfeiffer, of Nashville; great grandson, Caden Earl Sledge; brothers, Ronnie (Susan) Kennedy and Mike (Lisa) Kennedy. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the Woodfin Memorial Chapel, and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Rockvale Cumberland Presbyterian Church with funeral services to follow at 1 PM.
