Donald E. Wilson's Obituary
Donald E. Wilson, age 85 of Eagleville died Thursday June 7, 2018. He was a native of Spencer South Dakota and was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Jane Wilson; son, Michael Dennis Wilson; grandson, Vincent Rasicci; parents, Marlan Earl Wilson and Lillian Wilson; sisters, Linda Olson, Beverly Bentliff and Phyllis Nemec; son-in-law, Ronnie Hill.
Mr. Wilson was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was the founder of Tru Line Tool & Mfg. He was a former member of the Eagleville City Council and served as Vice Mayor. Mr. Wilson was on the Horton Highway Utility District Board of Directors for 23 years, Rutherford County Planning Commission, and Lifelong Nebraska football fan.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his children; Patrick Wilson and wife Sharon of Eagleville, Donna Rigsby and husband Doug of College Grove, Gloria Hill of Eagleville, Gary Wilson and wife Theresa of Eagleville, Tracy Bunch and husband Scott of Smyrna, Karin Skeen and husband Walter of Virginia, Kathy Nippers of Eagleville, Kevin Wilson and wife Terri of Eagleville, Keith Wilson and wife Shannon of Eagleville; 27 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Smith, of Texas and brother, James Wilson of Dixon Springs, TN.
Visitation will be 3PM to 7PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 11AM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with his son Bishop, Jimmy Tyson officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, grandson will serve as pallbearers.
