Donald Preston Vaughan, age 66 of Smyrna died Tuesday August 20, 2019. He was a native of Lynchburg, TN and was preceded in death by his parents, Teddy Preston and Bettie Christine Myers Vaughan, and brother, Wes Vaughan. Mr. Vaughan was retired from Texas Instruments and Hewlett-Packard. He was of the Christian Faith.

Mr. Vaughan is survived by his wife of 46 years, Karen Holdaway Vaughan; daughter, Christine Burnett and husband James Michael. Grandchildren: Kenneth Michael Burnett and wife Ciara of Smyrna, Preston Angelo Burnett of St. Louis; sisters, Elaine Vaughan Weaver of Lynchburg, Susan D'Angelo and husband David of Lewisburg, Teddy Corbin of Lynchburg, Bettie Copeland of Thompson Station, Rosemary Vaughan of Lynchburg, Jeannie Rymer and husband Bobby of Nashville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1:00pm-3:00pm Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 3:00pm Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna www.woodfinchapel.com
