Donald Lee Gannon, age 85, died Saturday, June 2, 2012 at NHC Murfreesboro. Mr. Gannon is the son of the late George W. and Mary E. Keaton Gannon. He is also preceded in death by his son Donald Lee Gannon, Jr.; brother Charles Gannon; and sister Evelyn Gannon. Mr. Gannon is survived by his wife of 63 years Juanita Lee Gannon of Smyrna; daughters Gail Curtis of Smyrna, and Lynn Patterson and her husband Ronald of Murray, KY; sister Sue Brown of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Marcie, Donald, Will, Clint, Reed, Swink, Luke, and Kadie; 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Mr. Gannon retired from Neuhoff Packing Company of Nashville and the State of Tennessee Rehab Center. A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pastor Marshall Gupton will officiate. Visitation will be 2:00 until 5:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Mr. Gannon.
