DONALD "DUCK" KENNETH EVANS age 60 of Iowa City, Iowa went home to be with his Lord and Savior Monday April 15, 2013. Mr. Evans is survived by his wife Barbara Evans, son David and his wife Mary amEnde of Connecticut, daughter Jennifer Evans, son Kenneth Evans both of Iowa City, Iowa, parents Kenneth Clyde and Minnie Irene Corbitt Evans of Murfreesboro, sisters Beverly and her husband Michael Jernigan of Beech Grove, Pam and her husband Frank Maynard of Murfreesboro, Jani Tarpley of Murfreesboro, grandchildren Nathan, Noah, and Brianna amEnde. Mr. Evans was a member of Taylors Chapel Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran stationed in Germany serving as special missions during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Ralston Creek. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00pm Thursday at Taylors Chapel Baptist Church on Halls Hill Pike. Michael Jernigan will officiate with nephews serving as pallbearers.
