Donald Bingham, age 63 of Smyrna, Tennessee, died Thursday as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. He was a native of Rutherford County and a son of the late Wiley and Iva Bingham. He was also preceded by an aunt, Willie Brashear Alexander.

Survivors include a son, Brandon Bingham and wife Sarah of Charlotte, North Carolina; a daughter, Rachel Shotts and husband Jason of Knoxville, Tennessee; four granddaughters, Grace, Abigail, and Hannah Bingham, and Spencer Shotts; former wife, Sandra Bingham of Smyrna; a brother, Ron Bingham and wife Patti of Lexington, Kentucky; a sister, Ann Gordon and husband Merle of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; a niece, Susan Bey and husband Earl of Smyrna; and a nephew, Mark Gordon and wife Rhonda of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 5:00 until the time of funeral services beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
