Dona T. Grimes, age 55, of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Grimes was the daughter of Clara Glover Rickard and the late Blevie Rickard. Mrs. Grimes is survived by her husband of 36 years Wayne Grimes; daughter Emily Ann Grimes of Nashville; son Chad Grimes and his wife Stephanie of Tullahoma; two grandchildren Knox and Anders Grimes; siblings Fan Marbury of PA, Tim Rickard of OH, Barbara Casey of Tullahoma, Don Trussell of Tullahoma, and Challice Rickard of Germany; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at New Vision Baptist Church. Bro. Brady Cooper will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Advance Preschool Wing, New Vision Baptist Church, 1750 N. Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
