Don Paffrath, age 81, died Saturday, December 1, 2012. Mr. Paffrath was a native of Ford City, PA and a long time resident of Conneaut Lake, PA. He was the son of the late, John Paffrath and Mary Retzer Paffrath. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joy Paffrath and his brother, Jack Paffrath. Funeral services will be at 10:00AM Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Father Mark Sappenfield will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Paffrath is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark and Jackie Paffrath of Bakersville, N.C. and Dr. Jeffrey and Susan Paffrath of Murfreesboro; four grandchildren, Preston (Amanda) Paffrath, Emily (Zach) Hyatte, Collin Paffrath, and Lauren Paffrath; and one great grandchild, Colton Paffrath. Mr. Paffrath was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and was a retired Health and Safety Technician with PPG Industries. Mr. Paffrath was a volunteer fireman for many years and held a major role in starting the Fire Department and Ambulance Service in Conneaut Lake, PA. Family will serve as pallbearers.
