Dock W. Jenkins, Jr., age 68 of Murfreesboro died Monday December 19, 2016. He was a native of Nashville and was preceded in death by his twin daughters, Sonya and Tonya Jenkins, and his mother Ruth Archie Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by his of wife of 45 years, Dorothy Jenkins; children, Kristie Richardson and husband Tim of Murfreesboro, Dock Jenkins, III and wife Melissa Jenkins of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Tyler, Morgan, Paige, Hunter, Anna; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Colton, Easton Mackenzie; father Dock Jenkins, Sr., of Ashland City; sisters, Donna Norris and husband Leroy of Smyrna, Kristie Uhles and husband Tony of Ashland City, Brenda Vickers of Nashville, Barbara McDowell and husband Reggie of Mt. Juliet; brother, Mike Jenkins and wife Tracy of LaVergne, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service with Military Honors will be 4:00PM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna. Visitation will be 4:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
