Dianne Mankin Ashley, age 67 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday December 28, 2014. She was born Betty Dianne Mankin on February 18, 1947 to the late John Bonapart "J.B" and Rozzetta Teal Mankin of Manchester, Coffee County, Tennessee. She grew up in Manchester, Tennessee, and attended school in Coffee County where she graduated, and went one year to MTSU. Mrs. Ashley attended the Beech Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she met and later married Clifford H. Ashley, III. She worked at State Farm Insurance Company for almost ten years as a rate-clerk, and over 30 years as an Educational Assistant at Buchanan Elementary in the Rutherford County Board of Education system. Mrs. Ashley is survived by her husband of 48 years, Clifford H. Ashley, III; daughters, Heather Ashley, Ericka Downing and her husband Ty all of Murfreesboro, TN; two step-grandchildren, Blake and Chad Downing. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Beech Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 471 Oscar Crowell Road, Beech Grove, TN, 37018, with Dr. John Vile officiating.
