Diane Marie Barker, age 69, died Saturday, September 15, 2012 after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer. She was born on April 23, 1943 in Hornell, NY. Mrs. Barker was the daughter of Eugene Anthony and Phoebe Amelia Oliver Pfuntner. She is also preceded in death by her husband Michael Barker. Mrs. Barker is survived by her children Geoff (Suzanne) Barker of Carlsbad, CA, Sue (Scott) Snyder of Austin, TX, Marci (David) Enoch of Murfreesboro, TN, and David (Andrea) Barker of Princeton, NJ; grandchildren Madison Barker, Kathryn Snyder, Matthew Snyder, Isabella Enoch, Luke Enoch, Emerson Barker, and Tenleigh Barker; brother Robert Pfuntner of Elmira, NY; and sister Donna (Thomas) McCoy of Panama City, FL. Mrs. Barker was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was an avide bridge player and had many loving friends. A private memorial service was held in Murfreesboro and she will be buried in Canaseraga, NY. Memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in memory of Mrs. Barker.
