Mr. Robinson was a born ten minutes before his twin brother Wayne in Lenoir City, TN and lived there until he went into the Navy in 1944 at the age of 17 to serve his nation during World War II in the Pacific. He was well know as song leader and even wrote a song which has been published and is sung in several congregations. He served as an elder in two different churches, but was always a student of the Word and a teacher in Bible classes as well as with his life. Music was always a joyous part of his life; not only in church, but also with a county band he participated in Florida. He wrote many county songs and enjoyed singing and playing his guitar whenever the occasion arose. That talent was passed on to Jo Ann and she passed on to her children as well. His health suffered greatly in the past few years, but he always strongly supported by his wife and family, including his spiritual family, and friends he has kept close to from all over the south.
