DENZIL SPARKY CALVIN CUTLIP age 85 of Murfreesboro, TN died Friday January 14, 2011. A native of Exchange, West VA, he was the son of the late William Newton and Allie Douglas Cutlip. Mr. Cutlip was preceded in death by his wife, Mertie Jo Blankenship Cutlip, son, Michael Earl Cutlip, and sisters, Lemoyne Sayers and Geneva Dawson. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mr. Cutlip is survived by son, Roger Lynn Cutlip and wife Nicole of Murfreesboro, TN; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister, Zita McQuain of Gassaway, West VA. Mr. Cutlip was a member and deacon at New Hope Baptist Church and was retired from the US Air Force and Arnold Engineering. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mr. Cutlip. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday at WOODFIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL.
