Denver Smith, age 84, of Smyrna, TN died Sunday, May 29, 2011. He was a native of Boreing, KY and the son of the late Henry David and Laura Bell Burnett Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hilda R. Crawford Smith, who died in 2004. Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 6, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his daughter, Karyn K. Smith of Pompano Beach, FL., stepdaughter, Darlene A. Odgers of College Grove, TN, sister, Elsie J. Deweese of Lexington, KY and grandchildren, Bethany A. Cole and Justin M. Cole. Mr. Smith was a WWII US Navy veteran and a retired stamping plant millwright.
