Dennis Lee Patz Sr, age 74 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Tuesday, September 12, 2017. A native of Crown Point, IN he was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Annabelle Kelsey Patz; wife Barbara Haynes Patz; and brother Chuck Patz.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military honors.

Dennis is survived by his children, Kim Kenda and her husband Larry, Linda Brady and her husband Scott, and Dennis Patz Jr. and his wife Betty Foster; step-son, Greg Wingerter and his wife Charleen; grandchildren, Alyssa and Paige Kenda, Trevor and Marshall Wingerter, Natalie and Luke Fugitt, and Cody and Dean Betsworth; brothers, Eddie Patz and his wife Pat and Terry Patz and his wife Jill; sisters, Sharon Krieter, Lana Fauser and Lynn Fischer; along with many nieces and nephews.

Dennis was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. He was a retired mechanic with B&B Heavy Equipment. He loved watching Nascar and Western movies and will always be remembered for his funny sense of humor. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials in memory of Dennis can be made to The Wounded Warriors Project in Nashville or to the Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro.

Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
