Dennis Paul Neal, age 53 of LaVergne, Tennessee died Sunday, July 16, 2017 at TriStar Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville. He was born in Murfreesboro and was a son of the late R.L. Neal, Jr. and Thelma Stacy Neal. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Gary Reynolds and Elwood Reynolds, Jr.

Dennis is survived by a son, Daniel Neal; sisters, Betty Farmer of Portland, Helen Coop and Kaye Baer both of LaVergne, and Barbara Smith of Nashville; two brothers, Doyle Reynolds of Smyrna and Bobby Reynolds and his wife Anna of Lebanon.

He was a construction worker, an avid music fan, and talented guitar player.

Dennis will be missed by his family and friends who are left with memories of the good times they had through the years.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Woodfin Funeral Chapels and services may be held at a later date.
