Dennis "Wayne" Jones, 71, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away August 28, 2024. He is finally at peace after a long battle with vascular dementia, following a stroke several years ago.

Wayne was born on April 3, 1953, to Jesse and Georgia Jones (Brown) in Nashville, Tennessee. Wayne excelled in the HVAC business. He loved working with his hands and could fix anything you put in front of him.

Later in life, Wayne met the love of his life, Jeanie, and they soon married and began a life together.  They enjoyed weekends spent outside in their pool and time spent with family and friends.  They never had children, but Wayne loved any children who came through their door and, of course, his animals.

Wayne was predeceased by his loving wife, Jeanie, unexpectedly in 2006.  Also, predeceasing him, are his father, Jesse, and two brothers, Steve and Tommy.  He is survived by his mother, Georgia Brown, his siblings:  Debbie Campbell, Paul "Ricky "Jones (Brenda), Melanie Brown, and Jennifer Lemay (David), and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
