DELORES (DEO) BOWYER HOLDEN age 73 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday December 23, 2008 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was a native of Princeton, West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late James L. and Nannie Sluss Bowyer. Private graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend Michael OBannon will officiate. There will be a memorial service on Saturday January 17, 2009 at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Michael O Bannon officiating. She is survived by three daughters: Nanette (Younasse) Tarbouni of St. Louis MO, Linda, (Ron Harr) Andreae of Chattanooga, TN, and Kathryn (Jimmy) Cantrell of Germantown, TN, two sisters: Bettye Hillman of Johnson City, TN and Jimmy Doris Engel of Charlottesville, VA. Grandchildren: Morgan Anne and John Bowyer Andreae, Seamus and Liam Cantrell. Mrs. Holden was preceded in death by her husband Charles Williams (Jack) Holden who died in 2006 and a sister Hettye K. Bowyer. She was a member of First Untied Methodist Church. Mrs. Holden received her B.S. Degree in nursing at Vanderbilt University in 1957. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
