Delores Marie Hartley, age 85, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015. She was a native of Akron, OH and the daughter of the late Charles Cloyd and Nina Elizabeth Marshall Hammitt. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Willis Earl Hartley who died in 2004. Funeral service will be 11:00am Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Mike Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, David Earl Hartley and his wife Faye of Bowling Green, KY, Michael Wayne Hartley of Murfreesboro, mother of grandchildren: Karen Carrier Hartley of Murfreesboro, six grandchildren, Jasen Hartley of Murfreesboro, Shelly Hartley of Murfreesboro, Alan Hartley and his wife Heather of Davenport, IA, Daniel Hartley of Bowling Green, KY, Janna Hartley of Murfreesboro, Andrew Hartley of Bowling Green, KY, one great grandson, Carson Hartley, one great granddaughter, Emma Hartley, and her brother, Charles Waymen Hammitt and his wife Carolyn of Mogadore, OH. Mrs. Hartley was a member of Third Baptist Church and a retired Executive Secretary to the Chief of the FAA.
