Delia Katherine ONeal Yearwood, age 97, of Murfreesboro passed away Monday, December 28, 2009 at the home of her daughter. A native of Rutherford County she was the daughter of the late Hardy Britton and Rinda Elizabeth ONeal. She is also preceded in death by her husband; Robert H. Yearwood, her son; Gary Wayne Yearwood, her sister; Carrie Pauline Waddey and three brothers; Wiliam, James and John ONeal. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Barry Mershon will officiate. Internment will follow in Thyatira Cemetery. Mrs. Yearwood is survived by her daughter and son in law; Robbie E. (Tommy) Caldwell, two sons and daughters in law; Robert S. (Jean) Yearwood and John M. (Linda) Yearwood, grandchildren; Bryan Caldwell, Kathy Stehl, Vicki Jacobs, Neil Yearwood, and Geoff Yearwood, step-grandchildren; Eddie Sanders and Karen Hayes, great grandchildren; David Caldwell, Chris Caldwell, Hunter Caldwell, Carrie Yearwood, Erica Yearwood, Emily Yearwood and James Sterling Stehl, step great grandchildren; Kyle and Shelby Hayes and Bryant Sanders, and one nephew; Dwain ONeal. Mrs. Yearwood was a member of Hatties Chapel Baptist Church. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
