Delbert Leland Norris

Delbert Leland Norris, age 90 of Murfreesboro passed away on September 11, 2026. He was a native of Red House, West Virgina and was preceded in death by his wife Helen May Turner Norris, and his parents, Carl J. Norris and Myrtle McCormick Norris; son in law, Mark Barnes.

Mr. Norris was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church and retired from Kaiser Aluminum. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a carpenter and builder by trade.

He is survived by his children, Joseph Leland Norris and wife Doreen, Dr. Mike Norris and wife Mila, John Timothy Norris and wife Kathy, Angela Arlene Barnes, Amy Darleen Herdman and husband John; grandchildren, Brian Joseph Norris, Joel Hampton Norris and wife Lauren, Jessica Leigh Elliott and husband Ryan, Jacylyn Renee Miller, Collin Michael Barnes and wife Abby, Brook Nicole Royalty, and husband Matthew, Jared Michael Herdman and wife Jodie, Madeline Grace Herdman, Allison Faith Herdman; 12 great-grandchildren; sister Lou Ann Halstead.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 22nd 10:00AM until 12 Noon at Franklin Road Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 22nd 12 Noon at Franklin Road Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
