Deborah McKnight Rowlette, age 60, of Murfreesboro, TN died Tuesday, October 21, 2014. She was a native of Murfreesboro and daughter of Rev. Charles P. McKnight of Murfreesboro and the late Mary Alice King McKnight. She is also preceded in death by daughter, Stephanie Scruggs; and her first husband, James Rowlette. She is survived by her husband, Thomas R. Rowlette; two daughters, Michelle Davy and her husband Raymond of Murfreesboro and Jennifer Allen and her husband Seth of Murfreesboro; father, Rev. Charles P. McKnight and his wife Carolyn of Murfreesboro; brother, Bob McKnight and his wife Lonnie of McMinnville, TN; sister, Angela Pitts and her husband Travis of Unionville, TN; grandchildren, Brooklyn Allen, Wil Allen, and Abigail Davy. Son-in-law, Jeremy Scruggs of Murfreesboro. Mrs. Rowlette was a member of World Outreach Church and Christ Church in Nashville. She was a graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School and MTSU. She retired in 2004 as a teacher in the Murfreesboro City School system. Graveside services will be at 11:00AM Thursday at Christ Church Memorial Garden on Bell Road in Nashville, TN. Pastor Bob Bush will officiate.
