Deborah Hurt, age 61 of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was a native of Louisville, Kentucky and a daughter of the late Lester and Gladys Hurt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Hurt.

Survivors include her husband, John Chanthavanheuang; daughter, Cheiami Chanthavanheuang and husband, Roderick Smith; a son, Chad Chanthavanheuang, all of Murfreesboro; twin sister, Karen Johnson and husband Jack of Mt. Washington, KY; sisters, Carolyn Douthitt of Elizabethtown, KY, Lavada Werner-Lustig and husband Paul of Louisville, KY; a brother, Daryle Hurt and wife Mary of Virginia; grandchildren, Chandon Smith and Kashdon Smith; and a host of other loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 1, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
