Deborah Debbie Gillespie James, age 60 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Wednesday March 28, 2012. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Owen, and Hazel Josephine Insel Gillespie. Mrs. James is survived by her husband, David Carl James; son, Scotter James and his wife Alexandra; daughter, Kathy Corley and her husband Brian all of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Harley Matthews, Livesay James and Max Corley; sister, Diane Summar of Murfreesboro, TN; special cousins, Carol and Larry Rigney, Robbie and Ron Krause. Funeral service will be11:00 AM Friday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel with Pastor Allen Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Republican Grove Cemetery with The Crusty Veterans serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Stevens and Dan Garant. Mrs. James was a member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ and a 1969 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School. She was a retired secretary with Murfreesboro City Schools.
