Deborah "Debbie" Lynne Adams, age 61, of Murfreesboro, passed away September 13, 2014. A memorial service will be held Saturday September 20, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ircel Harrison officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Adams is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years Byron E. Adams; daughter, Rebekah Quillen and husband Tee; grandchildren, Morgan and Ian Quillen; mother, Evelyn Alexander; sister, Robin Brown and husband Bruce; brother, Allen Alexander and wife LaDonna; nieces Bonnie Boykin and husband Mark, Bailey and Rachel Alexander; nephew Beau Stanley and wife Jackie; and great niece Rachel Stanley. She was preceded in death by her father,Dr. Robert Alexander. Mrs. Adams was a graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School (1970), MTSU, and Dalton College, Dalton, GA. She was a registered nurse working in North Georgia. Debbie walked this earth as a Christian witness in all she did. People knew she was a Christian by the way she lived her life. She was very active in her churches and in the community. Debbie's love of the outdoors took her on many mountain hikes with Byron. She had an adventurous spirit in life. Debbie never gave up on living her life to the fullest despite health issues from age 10 at which she became a juvenile diabetic. In later years, she had systemic scleroderma.
