Mrs. DeAnna "Dee" Chapman Douglas, age 56, of Rockvale, TN passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017. She was born in Murfreesboro, TN to the late John Marshall and Anne Marie Qualls Chapman. Mrs. Douglas enjoyed crocheting, frisbee golf, and watching Food Network. She was a program coordinator for Reading for Education and was of the Christian faith.

Mrs. Douglas is survived by her daughter, Laura Clark of Rockvale; son, Jason Sharber of Murfreesboro, TN; siblings, Jimmy Chapman and his wife Elaine of Stockbridge, GA, Bubba Chapman of Murfreesboro, Mark Chapman and his wife Gail of Clarksville, TN, Barbara Williamson of Murfreesboro, Cindy Mashe and her husband Wayne of Longview, TX, and Lynn Clark of Lebanon, TN; nephew David Ryan Cornette of Watertown, TN; and faithful canine companion, Peanut. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, July 31, 2017 from 10:00am until 12:00noon at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A celebration of life will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 12:00noon at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Teb Batey will officiate.

The family asks that people wear purple or any other light color on Monday.
