David Lee Young (age 55) of Woodbury, Tennessee passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 11th, 2022. He was born in Smyrna, TN on October 21st, 1966 to the late Murray and Polly Young. David had a love for airplanes, motorcycles, and military history especially that of World War 2. David worked as a truck driver for many years. David loved his wife, his family and his dog, Sadie.

David is survived by his loving wife, Sebrina Young; children, Matthew Arrington (Hannah Manhoff); daughter, Kaliesha Hardin; son, Skylar Strong; one grandson; sister, Kim (Edward) Faulkner; niece, Kelsey Faulkner; and many other family and friends.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Murray Lee Young and Polly Hall; mother and father in law, Vernon Pendergrast and Shirley Jennings; grandparents, Frances and Percy Jared Hall, Myrtle and Walter Ira Young, Sr; aunts, Molly Cunninghan and Patty Hall; and uncles, Walter Young and Bill Batey.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 13th, 2022 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN. Funeral Service will be Monday, February 14th, 2022 at 2:00PM with Brother Ray Patrick officiating at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will immediately follow at Odom Cemetery in Auburntown, TN with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
