David Wright, age 63 of Lavergne, TN passed away Thursday, December, 22, 2011. A native of Jamestown, TN he was preceded in death by his son, Johnathan David Wright and parents, Rev. Charlie and Lydia Smith Wright. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00PM at True Vine Freewill Baptist Church. (530 Carter Lane, Smyrna, TN 37167) Brother Bradley Hatfield, Brother Buddy Edwards, Brother Donnie Heath, Brother Shayne Monday and son Charlie Wright will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Linda Allred Wright of Lavergne; daughter, Toni Poole of Smyrna; son, Charlie Wright of Smyrna; daughter, Heather Walper and husband Philip of Smyrna; daughter, Joy Wright of Murfreesboro; son, Scot Wright of Murfreesboro; five sisters, Treva Fowler and husband Billy of Selma, IN, Pansy Beaty and husband Roger of Selma, IN, Iva Monday and husband Hugh of Jamestown, TN, Wanda Nance and husband Darrell of Spencer, TN, Cheryl Byrd and husband Rick of Nashville, TN; four brothers, Willie Wright and wife Sue of Jamestown; Homer Wright and wife Marie of White House, TN, Amos Wright and wife Debbie of Parker City, IN, and Tommy Wright and wife Trish of Nolensville, TN; 11 grandchildren, Garrett, Emily, Haley, Matthew, Gracie, Megan, Abby, C.J., Sam, Noah, and Autumn; father and mother-in-law, Rev. Bob Allred and Lydia Hayes Allred of Smyrna, TN, formerly of Jamestown, TN, and a host of several nieces and nephews and friends. Mr. Wright was a member of True Vine Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired Supervisor for TDS Telecom. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, a devout Christian with a sweet humble spirit and an inspiration to everyone. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to True Vine Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 11:00AM to 10:00PM at the church.
