David R. Tucker, age 74, of Smyrna, TN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. A native of Smyrna, he was preceded in death by his parents, Green and Hazel Burton Tucker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Watkins Tucker; daughters, Shelley Davis and her husband Michael of Nolensville, TN; and Amy Tucker of Smyrna; three grandchildren, Sabrina Spicer, Hallie Davis, and Presley Tucker; along with several cousins.

Mr. Tucker was a member of Giles Creek Baptist Church. He was a master barber for 56 years in Smyrna. David also enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren very much, and he will be greatly missed.

Memorials in memory of Mr. Tucker can be made to Giles Creek Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Giles Creek Baptist Church. Brother Terry Campbell will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
