David R. Timmons, age 81, of Cornelius, NC died May 5, 2016. Mr. Timmons was a native of LA County, CA and son of the late Harold and Lillian Grisby Timmons.

Mr. Timmons was a member of Believer's Chapel. He attended the University of Southern California. He had a background in engineering, owned two manufacturing companies before he retired from his sales and marketing company. He served in the Mission Field to build up local Churches in the Ukriane, East Germany, Bulgaria, Poland, Israel, and Palestine on the West Bank.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 13, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery. Bro. Steve Jones will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

He is survived by his wife Renee Woods Timmons, two daughters, Cherie Pickett and husband Keith of Cornelious, NC, Michelle Lewis and husband, Allan of Shelbyville, three grandchildren, Diane Stern and her husband Kevin of Ohio, David Lewis and wife Shaunna of Louisana, Matt Stern and his wife Stephine of Murfreesboro, and eleven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Beleivers Chapel in memory of Mr. Timmons.
