David Martin Naron, age 77, of the Rock Spring Community of Smyrna, died Monday, January 16, 2012 at his home. He was born on September 16, 1934 in Williamson County, but spent most of his life in Rutherford County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Martin and Christine Hammer Naron, and an infant daughter. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Blair Naron, daughter, Marilla Ann Naron, godson, Forrest Watson, brothers Charles (Joan) Naron, all of Smyrna, Gordon Naron of Nolensville, Dorris (Lucy) Naron of Smyrna, Wesley (Dawn) Naron of Lebanon, nephews, nieces, great nephew, and great nieces. Mr. Naron worked at Lane Cedar Mill in Smyrna, retired from Aladdin Industries after 29 years of service, and was a lifelong farmer. Visitation will be from 3:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna Funeral service will be 1:00pm Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Bro. Everett Brown will officiate.
