David Michael Buttermore, Sr. age 25 of Smyrna died Sunday October 8, 2017. He was a native of Syracuse New York and a member of LifePoint Church - Stewarts Creek Campus. Michael worked for GDM Motorsports in Murfreesboro.

He is survived by his fiancé; Vivian Stinchcomb of Smyrna; children, McKinzley and David, Jr.; mother, Stephanie Phillips and husband Jody of Murfreesboro; brothers, Samuel Luther Phillips and Matthew Julian Phillips both of Murfreesboro; grandparents, David L. Buttermore and wife Rita of Murfreesboro; aunt, Julia Tulloch of Massachusetts. Michael was preceded in death by his uncle, David Brett Buttermore.
