David Koger, age 66 of LaVergne, died Sunday at his home surrounded by his family. He was a native of Cookeville, Tennessee and a son of the late Cecil Lewis and Francis Marie Meadows Koger. David was an employee of Tinkham Auto Sales in LaVergne.

David is survived by his wife of 20 years, Barbara Koger; his faithful K9 companions Henry and Cash; children, Kimberly Lynn Koger of Hermitage, Sheena Vollmer of Atlanta, Alicia Mayberry of Waverly, Terri Fussell of Erin, Barbie Twyman of Bon Aqua and Brandon Bone of Erin; grandchildren, Isla Vollmer, Chancie and Craig Mayberry, Charlie Carter, Jamie Fussell, Devan and Bryson Twyman, Graycen and Braden Bone; three great grandchildren, Ethan, Mia, and Kynlee; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday night from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
