David Wayne "Killer" Douglas , age 45 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Thursday December 10, 2015. A native of Murfreesboro, TN, he was the son of the late Winston M. Douglas. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Thurman "Shorty" and Mamie Brown, and E. L. and Elizabeth Douglas.

David is survived by his mother, Patsy Brown Douglas of Smyrna, TN; aunts, Ruth Viggins of Christiana, TN and Carolyn Smotherman of Arrington, TN; uncles, Milton Douglas and Roy Lee Douglas both of Murfreesboro, TN, Larry Brown of Bell Buckle, TN, and Wayne Brown of Murfreesboro, TN; and several cousins.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be 11:00 am Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with burial to follow. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

David was a graduate of Riverdale High School, a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ, and a tire technician.
