David Keith Robinson, age 81 of Waverly, TN, died Sunday June 5, 2016. A native of Cannon County, and was the son of the late Johnny J. and Lydia Todd Robinson.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of 55 years Carolyn Smith Robinson; son, George David Robinson; daughters, Annette Johnson and Debra Austin all of Waverly, TN; nine grandchildren, Lee Alan Johnson, Donovan Keith Johnson, Georgette Denise Robinson, John David Robinson, Cynthia Renee Robinson, Katherine Jane Robinson, Daniel William Robinson, Wade Hampton Bland, and Abigail Renee Austin; 16 great-grandchildren, and devoted pet Fluffy.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by a brother, John George Robinson; sisters, Jennie Sue Robinson Hall and Mildred Alice Robinson; a son, John Keith Robinson; granddaughter, Kristin Johnson.

Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Graveside service will be 3:00 PM Thursday at Robinson Ridge Cemetery with military honors. Jack David Robinson and Ronnie Lokey will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

He was a member of the Methodist Church and a served four years in the United States Air Force. Mr. Robinson retired from Nashville Electric Service after 30 years of service.
