David Foster, age 59, of Smyrna, passed away peacefully Thursday September 25, 2014. He was a native of Placerville, CA, and was preceded in death by his father, Lee Grice Foster. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Reverend Jim Diamond officiating. Private family Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. David is survived by his wife, Lari M. Foster; daughter, Schyler (Brent) Farmer, both of Smyrna; son, Dalton Lee Foster, of Texas; mother, Florece (Bob) Foster, of Missouri; brother, Bruce (Lori) Foster, of Texas; and numerous other family members. David was an employee of Yates Manufacturing for 33 years and was an avid outdoorsman. Pallbearers will be Dalton Foster, Bruce Foster, Dave Mason, Kenny McFadden, Floyd Hyde, Bud Seiner, Brent Farmer, and Mike Pate. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Memorials in memory of David may be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center.
