David Farrar, Sr, age 37 of Murfreesboro, died Friday at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was a native of Murfreesboro and a son of Steve and Cindy Farrar of Murfreesboro.

David is also survived by his wife Brandy Farrar; children, Haley Perry and husband Trevor of New Bern, NC, Elise Farrar, David Farrar Jr, McKenzie Farrar, Sean Dodson, Katelyn Dodson, all of Murfreesboro; brothers, Steven Farrar and wife Jessica, John Farrar and wife Lydia, and Andrew Farrar, all of Murfreesboro. He was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Farrar.

David was a beloved husband, father, brother, son, and friend who lit up a room when he walked in. He was a strong, compassionate, and caring man who loved his family and would do anything for anybody. He was a good man with a kind heart and a provider who loved his family more than anything. He was always strong, even during his struggles. He always tried his hardest to help those who needed it and always smiled through it all.

Even though he's gone, we feel his presence now more than ever. We are so lucky God blessed us with David and we will forever be thankful for our time with him. He is at peace now and that's all we could hope for.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00am Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Don Herron officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Farrar, John Farrar, Andrew Farrar, James "Tiger" Ashford, Dewayne Parker, Charles Mullins, Derek Walls, and Jeff Farrar.
