Mr. David "Uncle Dave" Walker, age 70, of Smyrna, TN passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015. He was born in Charleston, SC to the late Emery and Ollie Hart Walker. Mr. Walker was employed by Peterbilt Motors in the test department. He was a member of Miracle Baptist Church in LaVergne and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed whittling and was a Master Mason at the Gladeville Jopa Lodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Walker, and a grandson, Stephen Ray Walker.

Mr. Walker is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy Walker; son, Jeff Walker and his wife of Cassy of Murfreesboro; daughter, Tonya Dial and her husband Shane of Smyrna; and five grandchildren, Shelby Lynne Walker, Jeffery David Walker, Jr., Shane Edward Dial, Jr., Brandon David Dial, and Shannon Lynn Dial.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, November 20, 2015 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:30am at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Bro. Todd Kirkland will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
