David Randall Collins, age 60 of Murfreesboro died Wednesday June 19, 2019. He was born in Florence AL and was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Sue Clemmons Collins. Mr. Collins was a Computer Analyst with Bridgestone, an avid Star Trek Fan.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debbie Mardis Collins; children, D. J. Collins of Murfreesboro, Emily Collins Hayes and husband John of Murfreesboro; grandson, Landen Collins; father, James Robert Collins and wife Barbara of Florence; siblings, Kay Foster and husband Frank of Killen, Butch Collins and wife Lydia of Killen, Lisa Hamlin and husband David of Killen; and several nieces and nephews; his devoted pet, Spock.
