Mr. David Lee Cochran, age 60, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022. He was born in Beckley, WV to James F. and Wilma Mae Caudill Cochran. Mr. Cochran was a 1979 graduate of New Smyrna Beach Senior High School. He went on to earn his master's degree from Bethel College. Mr. Cochran worked in the I.T. department at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He had a very uplifting personality encouraging people to find and follow their dreams.

Mr. Cochran is survived by his wife of 36 years, Peggy Cochran; children, Lauren Wright and her husband Garrett, Andrew Cochran and his wife Samantha, and Kyle Cochran and his fiancée Arianna Pomerleau; father, James Cochran; nephew and niece, Jason and Jessica Norris; and siblings, Donald Cochran and his wife Helen and Patricia Townsend and her husband Carl. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Mae Caudill, and father-in-law, Jimmie Sumner.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 10, 2022 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
