David Dean Clark , age 68 of LaVergne, TN, passed away Sunday December 23, 2018. A native of Oakland, CA, he was the son of the late Edward LeRoy and Rose Morar Clark.

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty Ann Sams Clark; son, Javan Clark and his wife Kayla both of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Nicole Clark of Oakland, CA and Narissa Thomas and her husband Damien of Smyrna, TN; seven grandchildren, Adelyn and Jasper Clark, Brooklynn, Kinnsley, Jorden, Eli, and Jasmine Thomas. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM Sunday December 30, 2018 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM Sunday with Rev. Darrell Sams officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Clark was a US Army veteran, and a retired Plumber and Pipe Fitter.
