Dave Rader, age 61, of Smyrna, TN passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011. A native of Nashville, TN he was the son of the late Wesley Goodwin Rader Jr. and Geraldine Simpson Rader. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Wesley Rader III. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Smyrna. Bishop Jon Lifferth will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Rader is survived by his wife, Marilyn Gannon Rader of Smyrna; sons and daughters in law, Daniel Rader of Smyrna, Jonathan and Holly Rader of San Tan Valley, AZ, and Joel and Cassie Rader of Provo, UT; a sister, Debbie Brindley of Arrington, TN and four grandchildren. Mr. Rader was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Smyrna. He served six years in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and was the owner of Raders Lawn and Maintenance Service in Smyrna. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
