Dave McMahan, age 83 of Christiana, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Adams Place. He was born in Etowah, TN and was the son of the late Edward D. McMahan and Margaret Snyder Wiggs. Survivors include his wife Deana Cleversey; children, David Alan McMahan and wife Tina of Manchester, Lynn Hill and husband Steve of Murfreesboro, and Kurt McMahan and wife Deanna of Christiana; step-children, Chad Cleversey of Nashville, Kyle Cleversey of Murfreesboro, and Fallon Cleversey and husband Jamie Lovett of Nashville; a brother, Buddy Wiggs and wife Wanda of Christiana; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving family and friends. Mr. McMahan was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired as a fireman from the Washington D.C. Fire Department after 18 years of service. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Don Frensley officiating.
