Darrell Eugene Burkhart, age 60 of Murfreesboro died Monday February 27, 2017. He was a native of Golconda, IL and was the preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Brinkley; step-sister; Nancy Nickleson; step-mother; Louise Burkhart. Mr. Burkhart was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and was a former Marine. Mr. Burkhart retired LPN with the Alvin C. York Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patricia Ann "Pattie" Burkhart; father, Donald Burkhart of Colconda, IL; step-brother, Clay Burkhart of Golconda, IL; close friend; Felicia Edwards of Smyrna.

Memorials may be made to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass will be 11AM Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Graveside service will be 1:00PM Monday March 6th at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. www.woodfinchapel.com
