Danny H. Gilley , age 70 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Thursday January 4, 2018. A native of Raleigh, NC, he was the son of the late Leonard and Matriebel Puckett Gilley. He was also preceded in death by grandparents, James (Jim) and Amie Puckett and Caleb and Lula Barnes Gilley; cousin, Talmadge Gilley; aunts and uncles, James and Ruby Puckett, James and Louetta Lee, Herbert Reese, Peggy, Sueann and David Smith.

Mr. Gilley is survived by cousins, Don and Delorice Tenpenny, Dylan, Rachel, Tim and Sam; Donella, Taylor and J. T.; Geraldine and Vaughn Powers, Joel, Janetta and Jennifer; Orville and Brenda Gilley, Shannon, Stacey, and Sabra; Linda Gilley; Ray Gilley; Gwendolyn Reese, Kay and Anne; Stanley Puckett and sons, Stacey Lee and children, and Elsworth Lee and sons.

Funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dwight Bennison officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Clayton, NC.

Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice or Comfort Ye Ministries in memory of Mr. Gilley.
