Daniel "Dan" James Victory passed away in the early morning hours Monday, April 1 ^st at home after an extended illness.  Most of his immediate family had been at his bedside for the several days before.

He was a native of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where he was born August 5, 1954 He was the son of Helen Teeters and Jimmie Dallas Victory.  He is survived by his wife, Brenda Carter Victory; two sons, Matthew Ryan (Jama) and Steven James (Toni) Victory both of Manchester, Tennessee; step-son Benjamin "Ben" Carter Hickman of Manchester, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren and another due in September and 1 great-grandchild; three sisters, Donna Bratcher, Lisa (Danny) Davis, and Robin (Tim) Lowe, all of Murfreesboro.

Dan retired from Bridgestone Americas where he was an Engineering Technician for 27 years. Dan's love of his chrome yellow Harley-Davidson Fatboy was second only to his love for Brenda. He was blessed with a great sense of humor and joyous love of life.  He was a gift from God and will live forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life for Daniel James Victory will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Woodfin Funeral Chapel (1488 Lascassas Pike, Murfreesboro).  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
