Daniel Oscar Vermillion IV, age 83 of Louisville, Kentucky passed from this life to his eternal home on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Louisville. He was a native of Kentucky and was a son of the late Daniel Oscar Vermillion III and Alma Beck Vermillion. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Shirley Vermillion, Doris Williamson, Roxie Staples, Barbara Thompson, Carol Nalley, Johnny Vermillion, Belinda Sutton and Donnie Vermillion, granddaughter, Elizabeth Vermillion, and great grandson, Cayson Powell.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Vermillion; and his children, Daniel Vermillion and wife Brenda, Michael Vermillion, Kimberly Heaney and husband Tim, Valerie Lyon and husband Scott, Brian Vermillion and wife Maria, Lisa Woods and husband David, Tammy Douglas and fiancé Mark; stepdaughter, Angela Burke and husband David; a sister, Joanna Seay; 24 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Mr. Vermillion was a proud United States Army Veteran. He attended Freewill Baptist Bible College in Nashville, TN and was an ordained minister.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro. Funeral services will be 12:00pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro with Pastor Eric Warren officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with grandsons and great grandsons, Josh Carlson, Dalton Woods, Connor Crabtree, Braylen Silva, Keaten Hatmaker, and Alden Woods serving as pallbearers.
