Daniel Jose Rodriguez Kostyk, age 21 of LaVergne, died Monday. Daniel was born in Venezuela and was a son of Jose Ramon Rodriguez and Nathaly Kostyk. He is also survived by his brother, David Rodriguez of LaVergne; paternal grandparents, Ramon and Nancy Rodriguez of Venezuela; aunts, Milagros Rodriguez of Doral, Florida and Monica Hockman of Flint, Michigan; uncles, Jesus, Josue, and Dario Rodriguez, all of Doral, Florida, and Ricardo and Ricardo, Matias, and Maria Valereria Kostyk, all of Venezuela; cousins, Isabella, Fernanda, Jesus, Josue, Matthew, and Ricardo Andres.

Daniel was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church in Franklin. He was a 2012 graduate of LaVergne High School where he was an avid soccer player. Daniel studied at Western Kentucky University and started Uterpe Moving Company, Inc.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m Friday at St. Luke Catholic Church in Smyrna. Burial will be in Mapleview cemetery.
