DANIEL M. DANNY GRISSOM, age 58 of Smyrna died Wednesday June 30, 2010. He was a native of Kentucky and was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Jane Morris Grissom, and his first wife of 36 years, Peggy Grissom. Mr. Grissom was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and owner of D.G. Transportation. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Grissom; sons, Brady Grissom and his wife Victoria of Murfreesboro, Seth Grissom of Smyrna, and Jason Grissom and his Fianc, Lisa Halasz; grandchildren, Hunter, Scout, Piper Grissom, Anna Belle Grissom, and her mother, Tamina Grissom; brother, Larry Grissom, and sister, Kay Whitmere both of Kentucky; Elaines children, Kim Steele of Smyrna, and Brian Peacher of Murfreesboro. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Brother Ron Caldwell and Daniel Carr officiating. Pallbearers will be Ron Dickerson, John Farmer, Alan Clayton, Jerry Mitchell, Rick Reed, Nick Rochelle, Charlie Black, Tom, Sanders, Steve Haley, and Rick Gardner.
