Dan Stephens, age 91 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022. A native of Cannon County, TN, he was the son of the late James and Carmine Cooper Stephens. Mr. Stephens was also preceded in death by a son, Michael L. Stephens who died in 2010.

Mr. Stephens is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lorene Rowland Stephens and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Ron Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Republican Grove Cemetery with Leland Baird, Bruce Baird, James Baird, Perry Baird, Kenneth Carter, and Ronnie Webb serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of the service.

Mr. Stephens was a member of the Salem Creek Church of Christ, a 1952 graduate of Auburn High School in Auburntown, TN, a US Army veteran where he served in Korea, and a retired salesman with Rone Jewelry on the Square .
